The symposium explores current trends in evo-devo research and their conceptual implications. Particular attention is given to the challenges that arise from combining developmental concepts with evolutionary ones. Lectures and discussion will explore avenues of future progress in the theoretical integration of evodevo with evolutionary theory, a theme of ongoing collaboration between the Istituto Veneto and the KLI.
